📝 TL;DR (The Short Version)

✅ We collect your email, username, and watch activity to run the platform.
✅ We use your phone/JazzCash details ONLY for paying you.
✅ We never sell your data to third parties. Period.
✅ We never ask for passwords to your social accounts (YouTube, etc.).
✅ You can delete your account anytime and we'll erase your data within 30 days.

1. What We Collect

Here's exactly what we store, and why:

Account data

Email, username, hashed password, profile picture (if you upload). Used to log you in.

Activity data

Videos watched, points earned, link submissions, group memberships. Used to run the exchange.

Payment data

JazzCash/EasyPaisa/bank account numbers you provide for withdrawals. Used ONLY to pay you. Not shared.

Technical data

IP address, device/browser type, anti-cheat signals (tab focus, timing). Used to prevent fraud.

2. What We DON'T Collect

Passwords to your YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or X accounts — we never ask, never need them.
Your CNIC / ID card / government documents (unless required for fraud investigation with your explicit consent).
Location data (GPS). We only see approximate location from IP address for fraud detection.
Contact list, SMS, or call history.

3. How We Use Your Data

Only for these purposes:

Running the platform (matching watchers with creators, calculating points, etc.)
Paying you (JazzCash/EasyPaisa transfers)
Preventing fraud and abuse (anti-cheat, ban enforcement)
Sending transactional emails (withdrawal confirmations, etc.)
Sending occasional product updates (you can opt out anytime)

4. Who We Share With

We share data ONLY with these parties, for specific reasons:

Payment partners (JazzCash, EasyPaisa, banks)

Only the account number + amount, for sending your withdrawal.

Offerwall partners (CPX Research, Adgem, TimeWall)

Only your anonymous user ID when you complete their offers. No email, no name.

Cloud hosting (DigitalOcean, email: Brevo/Zoho)

Technical infrastructure. Data stays within their privacy policies.

Law enforcement

Only if legally compelled by a Pakistani court order.

We NEVER sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. Full stop.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use a small number of cookies for essential functions (keeping you logged in, remembering preferences). We don't use tracking pixels, Google Analytics, or third-party advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of all data we have on you. Email us, we'll send it within 7 days.
Delete: Delete your account anytime. We'll erase your data within 30 days (retaining only what's legally required).
Correct: Update your profile info anytime from your account settings.
Opt out: Unsubscribe from non-essential emails via the link at the bottom of each email.

7. Data Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (we can't read them even if we wanted to). All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS (SSL). Backups are encrypted at rest. We follow industry-standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure — if a breach happens, we'll notify affected users within 72 hours.

8. Data Retention

Active accounts: We keep data as long as your account exists. Deleted accounts: Erased within 30 days. Transaction records (for tax/legal compliance): kept for 7 years. Inactive accounts (no login for 2 years): Auto-deleted after email warning.

9. Children's Privacy

ViewKaro is for users 13 and older. If we learn a child under 13 has an account, we'll delete it. Parents can email privacy@viewkaro.com to request account removal.
